The Estancia Golf Club
The Estancia Golf Course is for the privileged few. It was designed by Tom Fazio and is full of drama. It has been rated among the top courses in the country and the world.
The first nine holes have spectacular elevations and natural rock formations. The rock formations rise and fall with each tee and green, sometimes creating a strategic challenge, but always providing rare vistas and views. Each fairway and green is handcrafted and designed to be challenging yet playable. Play is further enhanced by the Club’s active caddy program. No matter what your skill level, you will be delighted purely on the basis of its condition and beauty. It has a presence that is impossible to match. When you get to the back nine, each hole seems to be even more spectacular than the last. Holes 12 through 15 are very challenging. Holes 17 and 18 are the favorites of most players. Your experience at Estancia culminates with the magnificent view on the 18th tee.
Estancia offers a wide range of distance challenges for members and guests. The Estancia Golf Course boasts 7314 yards of superb golf, bent grass greens and breathtaking views to enjoy. Men and women can play six different yardages, ranging from 7146 to 5333. In 2007, Estancia Golf Club had a $2.3 Million course renovation which further enhanced the course for members. Estancia allows only members and accompanying guests. Ease of play is impressive at 12,000 annual rounds and is enhanced by an active caddy program. Getting a tee time is never difficult at Estancia.
Clubhouse
Estancia features a luxurious 32,000 sq ft Clubhouse for members to enjoy. Rather than emulating the common Southwest look common in the area, the designers of the Estancia clubhouse looked to Europe for an Old World feeling. It was designed to give the aesthetic feeling of a European style village resting against Pinnacle Peak. It was built with the highest standards in authentic Tuscan style.
Dining options in Estancia include an informal Grill Restaurant and a more formal Dining Room overlooking the terrace area facing Pinnacle Peak. Members can select from a wide assortment of fine wines in the large wine cellar. Fitness enthusiasts will enjoy the large fitness center located on the lower level. The fully-appointed men’s and ladies’ locker rooms and massage room are also on that level. The sparkling swimming pool and tennis courts are steps away from the Clubhouse and have exceptional views of Pinnacle Peak. Members of Estancia also have some tennis privileges at the Troon Country Club, just a few minutes away.
Memberships
Estancia offers two levels of memberships – Golf or Residential. It is a member owned club with a maximum of 325 memberships.
The golf memberships are sold on a “market based pricing” system. As a result the price of the memberships change monthly. The Club sells the membership on behalf of individual members. The club will communicate to prospective members the lowest price available. The purchase of the membership is handled by the Club between member and prospective member.
The dues at Estancia are billed on an annual basis, not monthly. This is the only club in Scottsdale that charges annual dues, rather than monthly dues.
