Desert Highlands is one of the top golf communities in North Scottsdale and is, in fact, the first of its kind to grace the region. Developer Lyle Anderson designed Desert Highlands with the vision of creating a community around a private golf club. Anderson’s vision also included integrating the natural features of the Sonoran Desert into the design of the community. The result was a visually dramatic luxury community with a low environmental impact. Located in a rich and diverse environment just adjacent to the area’s most prominent landmark, Desert Highlands promises not only a luxury lifestyle but a true desert living experience.

Desert Highlands real estate comprises 563 custom homes and homesites. Custom-built homes in Desert Highlands can vary greatly in price, starting from the $800s and reaching over $5 million. The Desert Highlands golf course and clubhouse can only be accessed by residents of the community, with membership tied directly to homeownership. The clubhouse is a 30,000 square-foot structure designed to transition seamlessly into the boulders surrounding it. Clubhouse amenities include locker rooms as well as both casual and fine dining that can be enjoyed either indoors or out on the elegant terrace. The clubhouse also offers a full-service bar and poolside dining. Sitting opposite the clubhouse is the 7,000-square-foot fitness and spa facility with a 77,000-gallon swimming pool.
