The Course

The Estancia golf course sweeps across the Sonoran Desert in the northern foothills of Pinnacle Peak. It was designed by course architect Tom Fazio with a vision to create a unique desert golf experience.  Reaching a total of 7,314 yards, the Estancia course plays at several different yardages for varying skill levels. Both men and women can enjoy six different distance challenges, ranging from 7,146 yards to 5,355 yards. The course underwent an extensive $2.3 million renovation in 2007 in order to further improve play for members and guests.

The course’s front nine are a testament to the desert’s inherent beauty and the expert hand that sculpted the course. From the moment you reach the first tee, you are greeted by a vivid landscape that resembles something out of a painting. Dramatic elevations, plus natural boulder formations that gently roll with each tee and green, create a visual experience that will enhance your game and abilities.

The back nine features a challenging stretch between holes 12 and 15 and culminates with player favorites 17 and 18. At Estancia, each hole seems even more memorable than the last. The Estancia Club’s active caddy program serves to further enhance your game. Whether you are a seasoned player or not, you will find the course challenging yet playable and the spectacular setting a reward in and of itself. When you have finished your round, you can retire to the soothing atmosphere of the Clubhouse.

The Clubhouse

At the Estancia Clubhouse, the timelessness of Tuscan-style architecture meets the serenity of desert living. The 32,000 square foot structure rises from the base of rugged Pinnacle Peak, surrounded by striking boulder and rock formations and lined by thick desert foliage. It encompasses two worlds blending together to create a single unforgettable experience. Members are enveloped in the warm, earthy textures and tones when lounging within the private sitting and dining areas of the Clubhouse, while just outside they are greeted by the rich, dramatic palette of the Sonoran Desert. Apart from uncompromising beauty, the Clubhouse offers a number of fine recreational opportunities, from tennis courts and a fitness facility to a sparkling resort swimming pool with a lap lane. Dining options include a casual Grill and a more formal experience in the dining room overlooking the terrace.
