Tips for Buying a Troon Home or Condo

Troon Homes are often the perfect choice for anyone looking for a vacation home in Scottsdale.  It is a fantastic resort area in North Scottsdale. Here are a few tips that will help you when searching for a home in Troon Scottsdale.

Discuss with your spouse or family what type of home you would ideally like to have. Start by searching through our website of Troon Real Estate for sale. This will give you a clear idea of what you can afford in your price range.

Next, contact me to do a custom search for you of homes in Troon. I can search the mls for the type of homes you are looking for and email you all properties in your price range. I can also set you up to receive automatic email alerts as new Troon foreclosures come on the market. I have extensive experience in Troon and I would be happy to help you find the perfect home.

When you are ready to look at some homes in person, I will schedule showings at your favorite homes. You should expect to see up to seven homes per day. I do not recommend seeing more than seven homes in a single day. The homes become a blur and details of each home are more difficult for you to sort through. You will be able to remember the features of each home better if you limit the number of homes each day.

I would also suggest taking pictures of the homes you like. Use your cell phone as a quick and easy way to save additional photos of the homes. Also, jot down notes about which homes you do and do not like.

After you find a few homes that you like, you can create a shortlist of your top picks.  I will schedule the second showings of your favorite homes. If you like a home, be sure to take your time to walk or drive around the area. Take a look at the homes close by to determine if they are of the same quality of the home you are considering. Visit the home during different times of the day to determine if there is any unusual traffic in the area.

Make sure you are ready with the documentation necessary to submit an offer. In Arizona, you are required to provide proof of funds or a loan status update from a lender. Finally, when you find the perfect home that meets all of your expectations, you should put in an offer.

What are Mountain Views Worth in Troon?

Wouldn’t we all love a perfect view of Pinnacle Peak from our backyard? The mountain views in Troon Scottsdale are especially appealing. Pinnacle Peak and Troon Mountain are very dramatic mountains. The boulder outcroppings, pointy peaks, and saguaros on the mountainsides are beautiful. Plus the colors on the mountains during the sunsets can troon homesbe breathtaking.  Mountain views are a large factor in the pricing of Troon homes. If the view is exceptional, the price will definitely reflect that.
