If you are shopping for homes in Scottsdale and have been watching for a great foreclosure, you know how few and far between they are in North Scottsdale. In fact, the North Scottsdale area has experienced a huge decrease in the number of 
foreclosures this year. The majority of foreclosures plaguing the Phoenix metroplex are in the far ends of the valley, especially the Southeast and Southwest valley. The premium neighborhoods in North Scottsdale, including Troon, have a very low supply of distressed properties and foreclosures on the market compared to these other areas.

Unbelievable as it is, there was actually a light dusting of snow in Troon North yesterday. It was a freak event, as Troon simply doesn’t get snow very often. It was raining and then suddenly the rain drops became snow flakes. Almost as soon as it hit the ground the sun came out and melted the snow. This is Scottsdale Arizona after all. Everyone here gets excited by 
the sight of snow. It is such a rare occurrence.
According to the National Weather Service, it was 44-degrees outside when it started to snow. One resident said he was pretty shocked to see snow in Scottsdale and grabbed his iPhone and took a video of the snow as proof. Definitely not normal for Troon North!
We’ve had a cold snap this week, but the forecast predicts sunny skies and mid 60s by Friday.
